Generative AI Engineer (m/w/d)

Your main tasks

  • Develop Autonomous Agents: Design and implement agentic systems capable of executing tasks with minimal supervision, powered by LLMs, reinforcement learning, and symbolic AI.

  • Drive Intelligence into Workflows: Embed AI into decision-making processes—optimizing planning, strategy, and execution across business use cases.

  • Collaborate on Multi-Agent Systems: Architect AI frameworks where multiple agents cooperate to deliver real-time, adaptive outcomes.

  • Build & Optimize NLP Pipelines: Fine-tune LLMs and integrate NLU capabilities into agents for contextual understanding and task handling.

  • Leverage Data: Work with structured and unstructured data to drive more informed, explainable, and dynamic agent behavior.

  • Continuously Improve: Tune models, reduce inference time, and increase agent reliability and autonomy through data-driven feedback loops.

Technical skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related discipline (Tier-1 university preferred)

  • At least 3–5 years in AI/ML engineering, with demonstrated experience in building autonomous or agentic AI systems

  • Knowledge of decision intelligence, agent frameworks (e.g., AutoGPT, LangGraph), or strategic AI planning

  • Exposure to graph reasoning, semantic knowledge graphs, or ontology-driven approaches

  • Experience applying AI in real-world domains like fintech, operations, or enterprise automation

  • Strong background in Python and AI/ML libraries such as PyTorch or TensorFlow

  • Hands-on experience with large language models (e.g., GPT, Claude, LLaMA), prompt engineering, and fine-tuning

  • Familiarity with multi-agent systems, reinforcement learning, or planning algorithms

  • Solid grasp of symbolic AI or hybrid AI methods

  • Experience with cloud-based AI environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and MLOps best practices

  • Excellent communications skills in both English and German
