Your main tasks
-
Responsibility for the preparation, validation, and timely submission of regulatory reports in accordance with national and European requirements (e.g., CRR, AnaCredit, FinRep, Basel IV)

Analysis, design, and implementation of requirements from banking supervisory authorities (BaFin, Bundesbank, EBA)

Close cooperation with specialist departments, IT, and external auditors to ensure data quality, traceability, and compliance

Participation in the further development and automation of reporting processes—including definition of requirements for ETL routes and data extraction from the core banking system

Technical support for the introduction or further development of reporting tools (e.g., BAIS, Abacus360, OneSumX)

Understanding of posting and accrual logic in the core banking system and its relevance for regulatory reporting
Technical skills and qualifications
-
Completed degree in economics, finance, (business) information technology, or a comparable qualification

Several years of experience in regulatory reporting within the banking sector

In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements (CRR, Basel, KWG, MaRisk, AnaCredit, FinRep, COREP)

Understanding of data flows between core banking systems and reporting solutions, ideally experience with ETL processes and data models

Experience with SQL and reporting tools such as BAIS, Abacus360, or comparable systems

Knowledge of banking processes, in particular accounting systems, financial reporting, and account management

Analytical thinking, structured approach to work, and high quality orientation

Strong communication skills and the ability to bridge technical and professional requirements

Fluent written and spoken German and English
